PATA NEGRA (aka Ramon Ruiz Rainha) is an established São Paulo-based DJ, producer and drummer, whose eclectic live performances combine drum machines and loopstations to culminate in dancing-inducing positive vibrations and audience-focused transformation.

 

Consequently, PATE NEGRA has been tapped to perform in an impressive range of venues around South America, sharing stages with the likes of Vintage Culture, Gui Boratto, Gabe, D-Nox, Alok, Oxia, Dj Glen and Volkoder.

With a focus on Organic Groove House, PATA NEGRA’s genres include Tribal House, and Melodic Techno, though he is continually subverting and experimenting with genre, curating music which layers a montage of sounds; infusing flowing waterfalls, bird songs and a wide plethora of nature-inspired phenomenon. PATE NEGRA puts binaural sound healing at the heart of his music, driving soundwaves which have the capacity to cure and heal the listener on a mental, bodily and spiritual level.

PATA NEGRA has achieved recognition and global acclaim with his studio and production endeavours, launching an impressive discography on Soundcloud and Spotify and establishing two electronic music labels, PRIMATAS RECORDS and URUCUM RECORDS in the late 2000s.
